The Guesthouse is situated in Graafwater 30 km from Clanwilliam and 30 Km from Lamberts Bay (all Cederberg municipality).  Tea Garden, bar (Liquor License Pending) on main tar road (R364) opposite the 30km marker to Lamberts Bay.

Excursions:

LAMBERTS BAY - Bird Island - Home of the Cape Gannet, African Penguin, Kelp Gull, Cormorants & Flamingos at Jakkels River Mouth.
Crayfish diving in season (November - April) - license from post Office.
Other activities available include bird watching, and 4 X 4 trails. 

CLAN WILLIAM - Clanwilliam is a visitors paradise.  An assortment of water sports including water skiing and angling are available on the Clanwilliam dam.
During August and September the flower season attracts tourists from all over the world.  Rooibos tea is grown in this area.

CEDERBERG - The Cederberg national Monument can be visited. There are also exquisite rock formations like the Wolfsberg Arch and the Maltese Cross.

OLIFANT'S WINE ROUTE - it is a great stretch of about 200 km of countryside.  The cellars are open daily for wine tasting, wine sales and cellar tours.

BOSCHENBACH NATURE RESERVE - you can view Bushmen rock paintings at Boschenbach Nature Reserve, as well as Gemsbuck, Eland, Springbok, Blue Wildebeest and you can visit The Heerenlogement.  In 1682, Ollof Bergh was sent by Simon van der Stel to investigate the possibility of copper-mining in the Namaqualand - spent the night in this cave.
